The delivery note, signed at the loading dock.
Rowan Tech's digital delivery note signature. The driver arrives with the goods, the customer signs on the tablet or the driver's phone, and the delivery note is linked to the order in the ERP. No paper, no emails, no waiting. Legal validity, real offline mode and a connector for any ERP.
Product live in production under the domain rowansign.es.
The process, step by step
A loading-dock signature, not a desk signature.
DocuSign and Adobe Sign are built for contracts: someone receives a PDF by email and signs it from the sofa. That doesn't work when the driver arrives with a pallet, it needs unloading in five minutes and the customer signs with a glove on. RowanSign is built for that case: mobile app with offline mode, biometric signature capture, incident photo, geolocation, timestamp and automatic return to the ERP.
The product has been in daily operation under rowansign.es, handling real deliveries for distribution and logistics companies that sign thousands of delivery notes a month. It works as an advanced electronic signature and integrates two-way with any ERP that has an API.
Everything a driver needs on the road.
Mobile app for drivers, web panel for administration, API for your ERP. Three pieces, one product.
Signature at the moment of delivery
The customer signs on the driver's tablet or phone when receiving the goods. No email, no links, no waiting.
Real offline mode
Works without coverage. Syncs automatically once the device regains signal. Built for warehouses and rural areas.
Legal validity
Advanced electronic signature with timestamp, geolocation, device and traceability. Valid before the authorities and in claims.
Connector with your ERP
REST API for Rowan ERP, Sage, Holded, A3, SAP and others. The signed delivery note returns to the ERP automatically with all metadata.
Incident photo and notes
The driver can attach photos (damaged goods, incomplete pallet) and comments from the same signing screen.
Admin panel
Search by customer, date, route or driver. Download signed PDFs in seconds. Full audit trail of every operation.
Deferred signing by email
For customers who weren't at the delivery: an email link with the signature traced the same way as an in-person signature.
Multi-company and multi-brand
If your group operates under several legal entities, each one has its own delivery notes and its own branding in the app and PDFs.
All your delivery notes, signed and paperless.
The web panel centralises the delivery notes for your entire operation: signed, pending and incidents. Every document with its status, size and date, organised into folders and ready to send for signature.
This is how the customer signs, in under 30 seconds.
The driver opens the delivery note on the tablet, the customer checks the lines and signs with a finger. No paper, no email, no waiting — and it's legally valid from the first stroke.
The signature closes the cycle. It doesn't open it.
A delivery note is born somewhere: in the ERP that generated the sale, in the WMS that prepared the shipment, or in the TMS that planned the route. RowanSign doesn't compete with those systems: it closes the last step. The signature confirms the delivery, triggers payment collection, releases the next order and leaves a complete legal trail.
If you already use Rowan ERP, Rowan SGA or Rowan Rutas, integration is native and activation takes 1-2 weeks. If you use a third-party ERP, the documented REST API allows the connector to be built during implementation.
Rowan ERP
Native integration: the delivery note is created in the ERP, the driver signs it on the route and it returns to the ERP linked to the order. No manual syncing.
Rowan SGA
The shipment leaves the WMS with the delivery note generated. The driver signs on delivery and the confirmation closes the logistics cycle.
Rowan Rutas
Every stop on the optimised route carries its delivery note. The signature confirms the delivery and moves on to the next stop.
Third-party ERPs
Custom connector for Sage, Holded, A3, SAP Business One and any ERP with a REST API. Two-way: orders go out, signed ones come back.
In production, handling real deliveries every day.
RowanSign is not an MVP. It's a product in production under the domain rowansign.es, handling thousands of delivery notes a month for distribution and logistics companies. The operational details — the driver who loses coverage in a warehouse, the customer who signs with a glove on, the delivery note with an incident that needs a photo, the urgent search for the signed PDF from three weeks ago — are all solved, because we've been through every one of them.
Every implementation starts with an analysis of your current delivery note and delivery operation, followed by integration with your ERP, driver training, a pilot test with a real route, and a phased go-live. Support after go-live is direct with the development team, not a call centre.
They tend to go together.

What people ask us before getting started.
How does RowanSign differ from DocuSign, Adobe Sign or Signaturit?
DocuSign, Adobe Sign and Signaturit are generic electronic signature products aimed at commercial contracts: someone receives a PDF by email and signs it from a browser. RowanSign is built for the operational case of the delivery note: the driver arrives with the goods, the customer signs there and then on the driver's tablet or phone, and the signed delivery note is immediately linked to the order in the ERP. It's not a desk signature, it's a loading-dock signature.
Does it have the same legal validity as a delivery note signed on paper?
Yes. The captured signature is linked to the signer with geolocation data, timestamp, device and full traceability. In Spain it is valid for claims, audits and the tax authorities. The difference with paper is that here it doesn't get lost, doesn't get wet in the lorry, and can be found in seconds.
How does it integrate with my ERP or my WMS?
RowanSign exposes a REST API so your ERP can send the delivery note data (customer, lines, delivery address) and receive back the signed PDF, the delivery coordinates, the exact time and the receiver's name. If you use Rowan ERP or Rowan SGA, integration is native: the driver opens the delivery note from the app, signs it and everything is linked with no manual steps. For Sage, Holded, A3, SAP and the main ERPs on the market, the connector is developed during implementation.
Does it work without coverage in rural areas or warehouses without signal?
Yes. The mobile app stores pending delivery notes and captured signatures locally; when the device regains connection it syncs automatically with the server. The driver doesn't notice the difference. It's the default mode of operation: we assume the lorry will lose signal several times a day.
What happens with historical delivery notes? Can they be signed retroactively?
RowanSign distinguishes between signing at the moment of delivery (the usual case) and deferred signing (when the customer signs from an email or a web link after receiving the goods). For returns, credit notes and corrections the flow is independent and traced separately. Any past delivery note can be looked up and downloaded as a signed PDF in seconds from the ERP or from the RowanSign panel.
How long does implementation take?
If you use Rowan ERP or Rowan SGA, activation takes 1-2 weeks: setting up users, training drivers, running tests with a couple of real routes and going into production. For integrations with external ERPs (Sage, Holded, A3, SAP) allow 3-5 weeks depending on connector complexity. Adoption by drivers is usually immediate: the app is designed so that a driver with no tech background can sign a delivery note in under 30 seconds.
